For us to service or repair components down in your well we typically use a hoist mounted on a heavy duty standard size truck. If your well is inaccessible we may be able to complete the service or repair using our portable pump puller.

Jet Pumps

Jet pumps are used to get water from older 1.25″ to 3″ diameter shallow or deep wells. Jet pumps operate above the water table, using the suction power of a vacuum to pull water to the surface and into your home. They are typically in your basement or well pit.

Submersible Pumps

Submersible pumps are used in wells that are at least 3″ in diameter. They are installed in the well below the static water level. They push water up into the home using an impeller.

When using a submersible pump, it’s important to find the pump that meets the peak water demands of your home without overdrawing the well. We can help you find the right pump based on your water needs, well production, and possible additions to your home.

When should you service or replace your water pump?

Residential water pumps have an average life expectancy of 12-15 years. This amount of time can vary depending on water usage, type of water pump, brand of water pump, and other factors. Here are some signs that you may need to replace your pump, or at least get it serviced:

No water
Low water volume
Low or fluctuating water pressure
No water pressure

High electric bill
Noisy
Pump is no longer sized properly for water volume needed (ie added irrigation system)

Pump running continuously
Age of pump – for preventative maintenance
